Our Story

Lovey & Co Booktique started with two things we love most... family and books.

Hi! We're Shannon and Erica — a mother and daughter-in-law duo from Oxford, North Carolina, who have always loved reading, creating, decorating, and all things cozy. 

What started as a shared love of books grew into a dream of creating affordable, book- inspired gifts that readers would love just as much as we do. As readers ourselves, we love the excitement of discovering a new story — especially the mystery of not knowing exactly what's waiting inside until it's unwrapped. That love inspired one of our favorite creations — our Blind Date with a Book collection.

The name Lovey & Co holds a special place in our hearts. It comes from a cherished family nickname that has been passed down through our family. Choosing it for our business felt like the perfect way to honor the love, family, and memories that inspire everything we create. 

Whether you meet us at a local event or shop with us online, we hope Lovey & Co feels like your own cozy corner where every book lover feels at home.
